Technology Concept Demonstration

The videos shows a demonstration at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4, which means “Component and/or breadboard validation in laboratory environment”, for adaptive visual camouflage based on LEDs. The videos shows a proof-of-concept demonstration with two implementations, black mask and camouflage mask, in a variety of simulated backgrounds. In the videos the instrumentation setup is also described. All systems adapt well to changes in the background scene and illumination, but which implementation is best will depend on the type of background and lighting conditions it need to adapt to.
